BLUE HORIZON APARTMENTS BALI is located in northern Crete, between Heraklion and Rethymno, outside the beautiful tourist resort of Bali, easily accessible from the Heraklion-Rethymno highway. It is 32 km from Rethymno, while from Heraklion about 50 km.

The word Bali means honey. On Venetian rule, the Venetians called it Atali, from its ancient name that was Astali. It is built on an elevated small peninsula, with panoramic views of the bay and the sea. In Bali there is a harbor, and four well-organized beaches with sand and green waters, suitable for children.

Livadi: It is the first beach to enter Bali and the largest in the area. Suitable for water sports is well organized, with plenty of services and shops.
Varkotopos: It is a small bay, in the center of the settlement with a sandy beach well organized and ideal for families, as the waters are shallow and crystal clear.
Port: Next to the picturesque fishing harbor of Bali, the homonym beach has many taverns and shops.
Karavostasis: It is the most beautiful beach in the area and the most cosmopolitan.

Amazing hotel, recommend everyone!!! We spent 12 unforgettable days at Horizon. Hotel is renovated, very clean, nice, situated in convenient place, only 2-3 minutes close to the most beautiful beach of Bali. Not talking about Angela and Theodor and of course their daughters Eva and Ria - very warm, nice, polite, honest people! Hotel especially suitable for families with children. Only best memories and will sure come back one day!!!

Having been so impressed with Blue Horizon last year we returned again in August. The place has now been completely renovated to a very high standard throughout. Yet again our room was modern, spacious, well equipped & kept spotlessly clean by the housekeepers throughout our stay. Theo, Angela & their family are great hosts & a pleasure to speak with. They run Blue Horizon incredibly well & we hope to return again next year! In summary I’d say this is a simply beautiful family run aparthotel & would recommend it to anyone staying in Bali.

Good new spot in Balí! Shower space is nice and big - much better than most in Greece. Very new place, good amenities. The family who own the place are relaxed, open, and cheerful. Great ice-cream in the café by the pool!

Summer Holiday in Bali. Wow what a great surprise these were recommended by a dutch friend and we were not dissapointed , they were of a very high standard and Angela and Theo were great hosts. Very comfortable and near the beach. We will deffinatley come again
